Read through the Bible in OneYear PlanA - PlanB

"For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For 'All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever'" 1 Peter 1:23-25 (Cp:Isa 40:6-8)

Someone once said, "If you don't like things the way they are, just standby - it will change!" Computer technology consultants often remind each other, "The only thing certain in this industry is CHANGE."

In this day and time, it is not unusual to be disoriented by the constantly changing landscape. It seems that every day brings change, even though most changes seem unnecessary. New Age philosophy teaches that anything in the past must be changed, otherwise it should be considered irrelevant.

The Supreme Court of the United States constantly "rethinks" the original intent of the writers of the Constitution. They attempt to interpret the intention of these architects of freedom and liberty by deciding by the majority vote of a few lawyers what the framers of the Constitution "really" meant. After a few generations of that process, the original intent has been replaced by political agenda. Freedom has been replaced with "Political correctness", in an attempt to avoid offending anyone.

Isn't it good to know that the Bible, even though translated and paraphrased every way imaginable, is still comparable with early Hebrew and Greek manuscripts to determine accurate interpretation. Even more, isn't it great to realize the word of God will never change. Greater yet, any determination to destroy, discard or ignore it are irrelevant. The "original intent" of the Author will not fade but continue to bloom through the lives of those who are changed by it's influence. Just Thinkin'.. WebServant
