"I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O Lord. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly." Ps 40:8-10 David wrote Psalm 40 as a declaration of praise since God pulled him up from out of his "slimy" pit. (40:1-3) Here are some things you can do while you wait on God to rescue you from your pit:
Resolutions seldom change a person and really should be called "preferences" because they change like the shifting wind. God seldom blesses the man who has a "preference" to do good. Conviction, on the other hand, is the determination by God's power to stand fast on God's word regardless of those who stand with or against you. God blesses the person with godly conviction. Is your faith based on "preference" or is it based on "conviction"? Just Thinkin'.. WebServant
