"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isa 55:10,11 Solomon told us in Ecc 1:7 that "All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again." Solomon noticed that the water which graces this planet flows in a never ending process:
I can imagine man foolishly trying to follow God's recipe to artificially create water and its endless cycling of replenishment that nourishes our planet: "Let's see. Take two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, bind enough of their electrons together so they form a whole, add ample and ever-changing amounts of heat and cold. Repeat recipe countless times, then stir endlessly." (2) That's rather silly isn't it? Man likes to think he creates things, but even his most amazing accomplishment is a cheap and flawed imitation. Everything he "creates" starts with something God created. Every award man bestows on himself is itself composed of materials God made. Even more amazingly, is the comparison of God's word to the water cycle. Man hides it, mocks it, ignores it, ridicules it, tries to destroy it and still it comes back to "rain" on his head. Every word, down to the dotting of the "i" and the crossing of the "t", is perfect and has never been proved wrong. Know this. God's Word is much more than water. And the real miracle of miracles is that the Creator says every word in it will be fulfilled. Do you know what it says? Have you made it part of your thoughts, your dreams, your aspirations? Have you registered your praise today for God's word and His creation? "He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,' and to the rain shower, 'Be a mighty downpour.' So that all men he has made may know his work, he stops every man from his labor." Job 37:6,7
