Read the Bible through in OneYear

"When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Psalm 11:3

In the margin of my Bible I have written a note beside this verse in the Psalms. It reads, "The Christian in the U.S." with an arrow pointed to the question.

I am proud to be an American. Our founding fathers took great care to build a republic that would withstand the attack of enemies both from within and without. To this day, through both civil and global war, internal strife and imminent international threat we are still standing. The United States is recognized by the rest of the world as a country that respects the rights of the least of its citizens, defending the rights of the weak and innocent.

Did you hear that? It sounded like silent cries of millions of unborn children whose lives have been (and might be) cut short for the sake of convenience and/or financial gain. They do not agree with my statement that the innocent have representation and equal rights of protection under the law in America.

Somewhere in the not to distant past, America, like Esau, sold her birthright for a bowl of stew. (Gen 25:29-34) Years later, Esau woke up and realized that his birthright was the only important thing in his life. His lascivious decision affected, not only his own children, but a whole nation. But America, unlike Esau, has yet to wake up! She doesn't realize the bad deal she got when she traded her soul and applied a jackhammer to her foundation.

America fell for the oldest con in the world; the Bait and switch. In an attempt to imitate righteousness without holiness, our judicial system elevated the rights of those with perverse behavior to a position higher than any other. The innocent are now ignored and their "rights" given to the perverse. Enter situational ethics; Wrong is interpreted by consideration of circumstances, not law.

America violated the simplest and oldest axiom; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Our nation's judges began creating law based on wrong premise instead of interpreting and enforcing the law instituted by our founding fathers. These "new" laws have perverted things to the point most everything sacred and fundamental to our founding fathers has now been discarded and replaced with humanistic ideals.

So, what can the righteous do when the foundations of our country are being destroyed? At 2pm today, in a courtroom in Florida, our nation's foundation is being tested. You have the opportunity, from wherever you might be, to either watch the foundations crumble or do something about it. Do the responsible thing.    Just Thinkin'.. WebServant

"When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways - THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chr 7:13,14
