"But Jesus called the little children to him and said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.' " Luke 18:16 The disciples were getting nervous when parents started bringing their kids to Jesus to be touched by Him. It might have been that the disciples thought blessing babies was not very important to Jesus. Then again, they might have thought the job was too menial for the Master. But, one thing for sure, Jesus didn't appreciate what the disciples were doing in His Name. Jesus chided his followers for rebuking those parents. He told them that His kingdom belonged to those with the attitude of a child. Anyone who refuses to receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it. A child depends on the help of someone bigger than himself and has a basic trust for his parent. Are you like a child when it comes to spiritual matters? How long has it been since you've rested in such a trusting relationship with your heavenly Father? Do you trust Him without reservation and depend on Him to provide your every need? Just Thinkin'...
