"I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded, now lives in you also." 2 Timothy 1:5 When Paul and Silas arrived in Lystra, they heard high praise from the town people concerning Timothy. So, Paul decided to take him on their next missionary journey and circumcised him. (Acts 16:1-3) Paul came to know Timothy's family and began to realize the godly legacy they passed on to Timothy. His mother and grandmother had obviously done a good job instilling virtue in their son/grandson. Some know the joy of being a child of godly parents and can relate to Timothy, who had the advantage of having godly parents. Others are not so fortunate and must overcome the ungodly influence of parents who don't know or live for the Lord. Regardless of what your parents did or didn't do, it is your responsibility as a parent to live godly and thereby influence your children to be the same way. Will people see your children and say, his/her mom and dad are godly people and their child is as well? Just Thinkin'... WebServant
