"I called on your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit." Lamentations 3:55 I love the rain. In times like that you can tell what drives a person. They will either be joyful or have the mully-grubs. More times than not, it's the Christian who is joyful. Then again, I've known many Christians who have been the loudest of complainers when it came to discomfort. As a sales trainer, I've had the opportunity many times to prove to young men and women the value of bad weather when it comes to making an important sales call. (Many of you reading this will not understand what I am saying until I explain, but think about this: If you are a prospect and a sales person gets out in nasty weather and greets you with a smile, more times than not, you'll reward them with an order for whatever they're selling. It's the same way when it comes to Christianity. When the world sees our joy when we're in dire circumstance, more times than not, they'll ask about what it is that gives us such joy. They want to know because many times, they lack what you have: a relationship with Jesus Christ that makes you joyful when anyone else would be sad and depressed. If you want to be light for the world that shines in the darkness, I pray that God will give you a little rain so others will see your joy. Just Thinkin'... WebServant Scripture comes
