"We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God..." Acts 14:22b
In the first church, the going was rough. It was so bad in fact, that some Christians were brutally beaten and murdered in order to put fear in other believers. Still, the church grew in numbers and through the persecution, the church established roots of faith and perseverance that still stands today as a firm foundation upon which to build.
Christian, rough times - they're acomin'... Will you stand or will you turn and run? After all, there isn't really any way to test your faith until the heat gets turned up a little.
