"Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1 Like racing? Scripture says our life is laid out like a race course and we've yet to run it all. Race car drivers make pit stops in order to fill up their gas tank and change tires damaged by the course. Often the team that wins or loses a car race is the one who spends less time in the pit. One question: "Are you on the course or spending too much time in the pit?" If you are, then you have become entangled by sin. If on the other hand, you're on the course but not keeping up the other racers, then you're probably carrying too much weight, need a tune-up or are running on bad gas. Get out of the pit, Christian friend. Think about this: You can't see the finish line from the pit. Don't wait so long getting in the race that you find all the other racers have gone home and the fans in the stand as well. Just Thinkin'... WebServant
