The writer of Hebrews called them weights that hinder us in the race God calls us to finish. Paul called them things that contaminate body and spirit. Jesus called them treasures on earth that will corrupt and distract us. What are we talking about?
Easy; it's whatever keeps you from serving God will all your heart and with all your soul. What is it, you ask? It's whatever you possess or are doing that won't make the trip to heaven with you.
