"Even if I did give you counsel, you would not listen to me." Jeremiah 38:15 Have you ever felt like the words you were speaking were falling on deaf hears? I saw a funny greeting card recently that read, "If a man was in the woods and spoke, but no woman was there to hear him, was he really speaking?" Jeremiah knew what it meant to waste his breath, but he faithfully spoke as God directed him and he learned to let God handle the listening part. We tend too often to count people, rate their importance and qualify their receptiveness before we open our mouth. But, think about this: God placed a message in our heart for the sole purpose of delivering it, not prejudging who is worthy to hear it. Will you be faithful today to speak God's word to those with whom you come in contact? Just Thinkin'... WebServant
