"How long can you lay still in bed - in one position? Most people when sleeping, automatically turn several times a night, because they become uncomfortable.
Do you know who was ordered by God to lay on his left side for 390 days? This same man was then ordered to lay on his right side for an additional 40 days. Because he might unknowingly violate God's command, he was tied down with ropes in his position when he retired at night. Then, do you know why this man was told to lay in such a way? The answer is found in Ezekiel chapter four.
