"There are three things that are too amazing for me, four I do not understand: the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a maiden." Proverbs 30:18-19 Doesn't this verse in Proverbs concerning relationships really speak of the role of a man in marriage? After all, some men soar like eagles and others hang with turkeys; some can be seen slithering along the ground in full view and others hide under rocks; some lead their families across the open sea and others crash the family into the off-shore rocks. All these are easy to understand, right? The fourth thing, or the relationship between a man and woman, is hard to understand. "Amazing" is one word to describe the role of the man in a relationship, but I prefer another. Today, it seems "absent" may be a better word to describe it. Just Thinkin'... WebServant
