Do you know what it means to live by faith? How do you know when you're doing it or not doing it?

Living by faith is acting on the revealed word of God. That requires knowing the word of God which requires reading or hearing the word of God which requires being in a place where the word of God is being preached or better yet, studied.

The first step to living by faith then is 1) to be around God's people. Next, you must 2) listen to the Holy Spirit who reveals the truth of God's word; You 3) determine to appropriate it into your life and then 4) take action to let God prove he keeps his promises.

Four simple things: Now you know if you're acting like a righteous person or just someone who carries a Bible and hangs out with Christians occasionally.
