The reason Pharaoh has had a recurring dream is because the matter has been definitely decided by God, and he will do it very soon.
Gen 41:32

"Out of sight out of mind" is fine as long as it's not God you're talking about.

I don't remember exactly what I wrote over and over on that chalkboard. But, the teacher must have thought the pain in my hand would help me avoid doing again what got me in trouble. I don't think I was a bad kid in school, but like most I needed to be reminded that transgression carries consequences. Did that keep me from messing up again? No! Looking back at my life what was worse than my many mistakes was the fact I did the same ones over and over. We all need reminding and thank God, we have it in God's Word and the Holy Spirit. But will we listen, or do we need to keep some chalk on hand just in case?

How to pray this truth...

We should remember the Bible is a warning as much as a book of promise. (2001)
Why do we wait until we're in the belly of a stinky fish before we think about calling on God?(2002)
W'll always get what we ask for when we ask for nothing! (2004)
We'll never pray until we get rid of the false ideas about prayer. (2005)
