If you think wisdom and intelligence always go together, just look at most politicians and think again.
I'm amazed at the thought of floating around in space without any influence from earth's gravity. Most have seen the images from a NASA capsule as a person releases his harness and begins to rise out of his seat. Then after several days in that environment and upon returning to earth, the astronaut's legs are wobbly as he has to re-learn how to stand and walk again. Intelligence is the ability to make rational decisions based on acquired knowledge and experience. Wisdom, on the other hand, is simply learning to see things from God's point of view and considering it dominant of the two. The natural man (without God's steadying influence in his life) is like the person floating aimlessly in space while the spiritual man is under the constant influence of God's Word. Like gravity, its an anchor to our soul and will never change, but permits us to move around freely under His influence.
