Then the servant fell at his master’s feet and said, ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay everything!’
Mt 18:26

Whatever kindness God has shown us, we should show others.

Application
God showed David great kindness, seeing many of the things the king did were atrocious and deserved anything but mercy. And we know that David honored his word and kept his promises, even when no one else was watching. One day, as he recalled his friend Jonathan, he remembered the promise he made to show his family kindness as long as God was blessing him. Enter Jonathan's son, Mephibosheth, the last remaining person in Saul's family. It astounded those around him as David poured out extreme kindness on Mephibosheth out of his great love for his father Jonathan. Like David, is there someone today who needs to know God's love lavished so richly upon you?
