Blessed is the one who finds wisdom and the one who obtains understanding.
Pr 3:13

Just because we have access to something doesn't mean we have its benefit.

Application

In Acts 19 we learn the gospel had been preached all throughout Asia. In fact, so many miracles were being performed in and around Ephesus, imitators rose up. It was hard for some to tell the difference between a faker and the real thing. It seemed most demons were playing the game because they knew the fake miracle workers would detract from what God was doing. But, one faker was a Jewish Chief Priest who looked fairly convincing, even using Jesus' name to cast out a demon, or at least he thought he did. This demon however, had an attitude and asked. "Jesus I know and Paul I know, but who are you?" Even though being beaten like a George Foreman punching bag by the possessed man, the Priest probably never learned the difference between using Jesus' name and going in Jesus name. Have you? I mean, you end every prayer in His name, do you not?

How to Pray this Truth

Help me remember with every use of Your Name Lord, that I work for You and not the other way around. Remove anything in me that looks like pride and use me to do the work You called me to do.
