As
for me, far be it from me
that I should sin against the Lord
by failing
to pray for you.
1 Sam 12:23 (GWT)
I'm fearful that we, Your people, have no basic understanding of Scripture. With all the examples of godly men and women found there, we take off in the different direction expecting You to go with us. We make our own rules thinking we know where You're going, and then expect You to bless our work after we've built our Tower of Babel out of Bibles. We are a hasty people God, whose impatience grows with every trip around Jericho. Here's hoping we don't arrive at an alternate plan before we get to the end.

9:58 AM [webservant] Thank you for gina. Of all the people You touch, she is moved to intercede for somone she doesn't know. There are others I am confident, but thank you that I now know there are 6,999 others - somewhere, who have not bowed to the god of this world.
[webservant] Bless her and grant her good success in everything she does, for I know she aspires to only to please You.
[webservant] Should agreement come from ignorance or full knowledge? I know the answer, but I'd like to hear it straight from You, God. I'm saddened to think the church draws battle lines between them and the wrong enemy. This must give Satan much ammunition to use against You and give his minions great pleasure to see us destroy ourselves from the inside out.
[webservant] With almost fifty years of exposure to established doctrine, I am still amazed to hear educated pastors determine what's good for your people and what's not. Is this what's more degrees than a thermometer earns? Is the same Holy Spirit speaking to and leading me and them? We cast off any conviction to defend the faith from the outside and spend precious energy and resourses to fight our brothers?
[webservant] Has the same spirit that's duped the world also duped Your people? Blind obedience? Easy believism v repentance? It's not even a contest according to your Word. Yet it seems to be the last nail in the spiritual coffin of the majority of Your children. Is this where it ends?
