Motivation is born just above our tolerance level.

Live it
Asa became king in a long line of wicked and corrupt leaders, but Scripture says Asa was fully committed to the Lord his whole life. (2Chr 15:17) Israel had been on the outside looking in on God for a long time. They were without the Word of God or anyone to teach it to them. But in his distress, Asa turned to the Lord and sought him, and Scripture says he found Him. Things had gotten so bad in Asa's day, you couldn't even safely travel from one city to another. It was so bad Asa was motivated to pray and seek God. One can only wonder if he would have prayed if things weren't so bad. Isn't it like that with us? It's bad, but not it's not as bad as it will probably get. So, we can wait until it get's unbearable before going to God, right? I guess the appropriate question is, "How much trouble do we need before we will pray?"

Pray it
You've blessed me so much, how can I not express my gratitude? You have provided everything I need to face the trouble that is ahead, beginning with a desire to pray and spend time with You.
