When we submit ourselves to the wishes of another, we place our life in God's hands. Live it I felt if I had to fight, I might as well do it for someone who recognized my independent feisty attitude. I've since found such "reasoning," although flawed, has been used by many people. One thing for certain, submission is the byword for everyday life for someone in the military chain of command. God didn't intend for me to go to war, but had other plans. What I didn't know but have since come to find out, is that God is at the top of any chain of command that man establishes.
