The Bible can be read by anyone, but the Holy Spirit reveals what it says to a few.

Live it
It's only natural that things read in the Holy Bible are woven through the fabric of America. After all, our nation was founded by a few Christians on biblical principles. It can't be disputed that most of the Founders were believers because every document they composed references God and their faith in him. Even though this one nation under God is still standing, it's teetering on the brink of ruin. This is because the majority of today's governmental leaders claim to be Christians but have no respect, reliance or faith in God or the Holy Scriptures.
A university professor stood in front of his class and spoke of the Bible and faith in God with disdain and disrespect. He pointed out what he believed were flaws and erroneous statements in Scripture. When a student had all she could stand, she raised her hand and when recognized, asked the professor, "Isn't it true the Bible is God's letter to his children?" The professor reluctantly nodded his head when the student concluded, "Then, isn't it also true that you're guilty of reading someone else's mail?" Don't be like that professor. Be honest and if you want to read and understand Scripture, first meet the Author and walk with him.
Pray it
I am so grateful for the Word and the freedom we have to enjoy, promote and share what it says with the world. Convict those who speak of things they have no knowledge, dismiss what they hear and reject the opportunity to meet You.
