Daily Prayer Journal

As for me, far be it from me
that I should sin against the Lord
by failing to pray for you.

1 Sam 12:23 (GWT)

Prayer warriors have committed to reading this journal and praying for the needs of those listed. If you want us to pray, send an email and let us know. If you are leaving a testimony, be brief, be specific and give God the glory.

Thank you God for my parents and the examples they were to me. What You did rises far above anything we can do, but I can't think about them without thinking about you. I think that might be the greatest legacy I can leave so I ask You to keep me on track until I fulfill that mission.

9:10 AM [webservant] Posting tweets seem rather frivolous unless you believe You are able to direct our paths where we need to be instead of where we want to be. For years the solitude of this time has been my greatest privilege and pleasure. Without anyone looking or listening, I can tell you what's on my heart and know you never condemn or belittle me. Some will say the time has been largely wasted, but it is both ministry and preparation time for me. We can walk and talk, yes! But even more, I can listen as the Holy Spirit ministers to me and I feel Your love tempering my fears and soothing my aches.
[webservant] This, another pivot point in my life, is a time I will listen even closer. The transition is one my wife and I can minister and at the same time close out a chapter in our lives. Shortly, full attention will be paid to finishing the work you started in me. I dedicate it to You and again express my desire to be able to spend more time with You. I confess Your calling has been muted somewhat by all the ambient noise of closing out things.
[webservant] Spirit, I need Your filling today and everyday. There is much distraction, but nothing more needed. Help me complete what I started and help keep me focused as I race toward the finish line.
[webservant] For this and all the things you do I worship and praise You, God. Cover my wife with your mercy and grace today, filling in what's missing in her closure. Strengthen her resolve, lighten her expectation and direct her paths, I pray.
