Joseph asked them, “What have you done? Don’t you know that a man like me can find things out because he knows the future?” |

Insight is a type of foresight that gives you advantage over those with no hindsight. Live it It never ceases to amaze me a small voice can remind me of a past warning just after I fail to recall it and am in the process of suffering the consequence. I don't understand how I can't forget some things, but seem to have increasingly more trouble remembering anything else. This raises a question, "How many times must we commit the same mistake before we learn not to do it?" Many years ago I and my family were dining at a restaurant after church. Looking across the room, I saw a family I'd known since my youth. After greeting my friend and his wife, I encountered his married daughter at the salad bar and noticed she was pregnant. Yes, I said it! "When are you expecting," I smiled and asked. The fact she was not pregnant but simply appeared that way to me, was bad enough. But even worse was the fact I learned nothing but repeated my mistake sometime later - to the same person. It was then I made a decision to take certain words, such as "pregnant" out of my vocabulary. If I have a choice, I'd rather appear uncaring than idiotic.
