Trying to conceal something only serves to prove we are guilty of something.

Live it
We all played the game as youngsters. Running to home base, the last one there was "it." They would close their eyes and everyone else would run and hide. After counting to a certain number, the person that was "it," would yell, "Ready, or not, here I come," and then try to find someone , race back to home base thereby transferring their responsibility to another person. It wasn't called, "Hide and Seek" when Jonah tried it and failed, or when Peter did on the night Jesus was crucified. One was angry and the other ashamed, but God knew where they were. There's no question everyone tries at one time or another, to hide from someone or something undesirable.
Maybe it's evidence of something we've done wrong, or we're just trying to find a place to hide from someone. It's human nature to want to run when we're afraid, but have we learned yet that when God is "It," there's no safe place to hide? Or how about when we try to find from God just to find out He never hides from us? I think its safe to say there'll be no playing Hide and Seek in heaven.
Pray it
Jehovah Shammah, thank you that You're always here, there and everywhere. I can count on you to be my Refuge when I need a Protector and a safe place to hide.
