There is no such thing as a bad job in a bad economy.

Live it
The US Labor Department reported last week that the unemployment rate climbed to 10.2% in October 2009, bringing the total number of jobs lost in the recession to 7.3 million. In spite of the fact the government claims to have turned the US sinking economy around, the outlook is not good for 2010. A family can't get a pass by spending more money than it has or can earn in a lifetime. It doesn't take a genius to recognize the government can't either. Sadly, we may look back and say in the months ahead that ten percent wasn't so bad after all.

If you're one of the employed in America, you should thank God. Forget what you saved or think is set aside, most everyone needs a steady income source regardless of their age. To do anything less is a sure formula for becoming government dependent. And that's only good as long as the nations who loaned America money accept interest on the debt and not demand the loan be paid back. It can't and never can be. That poses the question: Are you surviving on the work of your hands or on God's provision? In some cases they're the same, but for most, they're not. They winkd when "In God We Trust" was removed from US currency, thinking "In Government We Trust" is a better option. So hows that working for you so far?

Pray it
I put my trust in You God, and there'e no need to inscribe in on a coin. I earn nothing You don't give me. Everything comes from You and is good if consecrated by the Word of God and prayer. You alone are deserving of all the credit. If things get worse in the days ahead, I continue to put my trust in you, for You O Lord have never forsaken those who seek You. Ps 9:10
