If the world can't see God through us, what hope do they have?

Live it
The United States Senate is voting on a bill shortly called Health Care Reform, but is the largest government takeover of private industry in the history of our nation. Without question, it is the most offensive, punitive program ever perpetrated on U.S. citizens. In fact, if passed and enacted, life in America will never be the same again. It's not uncommon to hear conversation between ordinary people, discussing the different ways this anti-liberty legislation will affect their lives negatively. But if you're a Christian, I doubt you've considered the opportunities this horrible program will afford.
Think about it. Never before will so many be so motivated to discuss life and death issues. When jobs are lost, doctor positions vacated and insurance cancelled, people won't be able to get the immediate care they previously took for granted. People will look for hope when they find government has none. The Great Physician will still have a practice and his interns will have ample patients. The only concern is whether they are over-comers, ready for the challenge and have any hope to give anyone else.
Pray it
In the same way you prepared Joseph for the lean years, may we Your people, be ready for the coming challenge. We are not worthy to be called martyrs, but the choices ahead may soon divide the brothers from the weeds. Strengthen us to stand strong and be faithful.
