No one gives meaning to having a friend in high places like God.

Live it
A few people in history have been known as a friend of God. Enoch, Noah and Moses were in that group, but Abraham is known as having been one. James 2:23 tells us it was his faith that set him apart and is responsible for making such a special bond possible. So then, how will this information profit you?

Before you get in line, hoping to become God's friend, know that everyone enjoying a relationship with Jesus has everything they need. Still, only a few people get to the point God views them as someone set apart from the rest. If you want to know the key, here it is: it's prayer. After all, when you have a friend, you want to spend all your time with them, don't you?

Pray it
What a friend we have in you, Jesus; all our sins and grief to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to you in prayer.
