2009 will be remembered for the year many people lost most or all their investments or retirement funds. It will also be remembered for the political "change" that gave our nation a total economic makeover - in the wrong direction. But for those of us who are Christian, this year should be remembered as perhaps the last wakeup call from God warning us to get our things in order and get ready to hunker down or better yet, leave.

Like you, I grew up hearing the preacher refer to Jesus' words in Mark 13:29, "When you see these things happening, you know that my return is near, right at the door." I've dreamed and often imagined being in that blessed generation who will be living when He comes. But like you, there are a few things I would like to do first. So, I remind us all that nothing remains to be fulfilled from Scripture before Jesus comes. So I ask the question you've heard countless times before, "Are you ready?"

Pray it
I have lots of things to do, people to see and places to go. Even so come quickly, Lord Jesus.
