The simplest things become monumental when God is in it.

Live it
Yesterday a student was driving his car to school close to my home and in a few moments of indescretion on his part or the other driver, his life was over. There's an old song called, "We'll talk it all over in the bye and bye" and more people are now waiting to ask God why he would allow something like this to happen. You may have your own list of unanswered questions for God, but have you ever considered he doesn't owe you an explanation. After all, he's God and you're nothing by comparison. How arrogant are we to expect the Almighty to answer for our failed expectations?
I love Christmas, if for no other reason that it magnifies the significance of a baby born in a stable stall over 2,000 years ago. He grew and we came to know him as Jesus, the Son of God. I often ponder how many times in thirty-three years someone like Herod, wanted him dead but failed. Yet, in the end he submitted to execution for our sake. Have you the irony? I'm always sad to see a young person to die, but I wonder whose life was and will be eternally impacted by his time on earth? If, before this day is over, you become a statistic, will you have used your time wisely or will people just complain you were too young to die?
Pray it
I apologize for diminishing the importance of my life. You thought it important enough to make me and shape me, I sin when I question you and doubt myself or your Word. Eternal moments are made when I treat normal ones like heavenly ones. If there's one thing I have today, it's opportunity. Help me make the most of my time and by the way, you Sir, owe me nothing!
