One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

Don’t be surprised if you see poor people being oppressed, denied justice, or denied their rights in any district. One authority is watching over another, and they both have authorities watching over them.
Ecc 5:8

When you're doing right, you need not worry about your rights.

Live it
Recently I incorporated a new business that triggered a series of building inspections which all but shut down operations for two weeks. Dedicated inspectors from the Fire, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Departments paraded in and out of the front door signing form after form. All this for sake of meeting needless government red tape and giving people things to do. And the new administration promises to add even more oversight employees in the future that will increase the size of government already larger than the entire private sector. Here's a question. What do you do when government oversight is so ineffective it needs oversight? I know, we can hire the private sector that was put out of business by too much government oversight.

Pray it
With all the confusion and worrisome activity going on in our government, it's easy to get my mind off you and on it. Help me maintain a healthy spirit even while businesses are failing and unemployment rises.
