When God's people are in charge, everyone benefits.

Live it
All through the Old Testament we read of God's people going up against superior enemies with superior weapons, fighting a war no one thought they could win. But with God on their side and equipped with obedience and diligence, they were the beneficiaries of God's favor. During the reign of Solomon, the nation of Israel reached its pinnacle and no one dared resist him or his army. Even though the nations around Israel were subdued, there was peace in the land because of God's blessing on his people. Unfortunately, that didn't guarantee their enemies wouldn't look for opportunities to take them down.
If anyone could have brought down Solomon, it would have been the Queen of Sheba. She tried, but wound up giving him honor and going home after paying tribute to him and his God. It's the same way for the child of God living in the world today. When we're the closest to God, everyone around us benefits, but when we're disobedient, they suffer just as we do.
Pray it
Thank you for your blessing on my life, for the grace that comes from listening to your Word and following You. May those who benefit from it, know You as I do and repent to serve the one and only living God, Jehovah, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
