One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

All my enemies will be put to shame and deeply shaken with terror. In a moment they will retreat and be put to shame.
Ps 6:10

Justice will prevail, but don't sit down and wait on it.

Live it
Dr. R.G. Lee, renown pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis Tennessee, is best remembered for his sermon entitled, "Payday Someday." Even though Dr. Lee is no longer with us, his sermon will likely endure long after we're gone. The subject of the sermon is to remind us that God sees everything, and even though we think we've gotten away with sin. There's a day coming when what we do will come to light, everyone will see it and we will be ashamed if we've never confessed it and asked forgiveness.

I didn't know Dr. Lee, but I didn't know the Lone Ranger either. One was real and the other a fictional role played by Clayton Moore, an actor who wore a white hat and carried a silver gun with silver bullets. Both were good guys I suppose, but only one preached the truth. Moore spent his life pretending to be something he wasn't, exposing bad guys and bringing them to justice under the law. It's ironic that man's justice is only as good as the justice system he created. Enough said. God however, delivers real and eternal justice, extending into the next life and by the way, the wearing of a mask is not permitted.

Pray it
It seems to me that justice should not be feared when we do what the Judge expects. When my judge is a man, I might have a problem, but when I stand before You, I know exactly what you expect. All I have to do is trust and obey. Good goal for this year, I think.
