When God says "Go," you don't need to know - anything else!

Live it
Like many of you, last night my family sat in the living room eating nachos, finger food and such as we watched portions of the Super Bowl on television. As the half-time show was beginning, I was curious about the band chosen to entertain millions of football fans. The members of the band called "The Who" were so old, I was surprised they were still living, much less performing. I'm not a fan of their music, but I understand they travel all over the world performing their music which is theme to some popular shows on CBS. Now, my wife was in the kitchen preparing food and wasn't listening to their introduction, so she asked "Who's the band?" I couldn't resist it. I said, "Yes, they are!" Who," she asked again with voice raised slightly? Like a comedy team I played the part of Bud Abbott, and faithfully uttered my line to my sweet Lou Costello. "Who," I said. She wasn't impressed, but I thought it hilarious.
Seriously, I have utmost respect for those who travel constantly in their work as well as those who move family and possessions away from home to start over again in a new city. It's one thing to do it to start a new job, but it's quite another thing when God tells you to do something and you don't fully understand why. Genesis is replete with examples of people who moved out of their comfort zone to go where God told them, without knowing what to expect when they got there. They weren't like the genie of Aladdin's lamp who said, "I am the flame of the lamp. I come from the nowhere, I go to no place, but here I am." Instead they had confidence, as should we, that it's not nearly as important where we go, as who sends us and knowing who goes with us.
Pray it
Thank you God, that you've never asked anything of me that You didn't both equip and enable me to do.
