The longer you live, the less time you have. 3232

Live it
Yesterday I met two men from different countries. The first was Ho from China and the second Oeung from Cambodia. Both were engineers in different professions working in Memphis for different companies, one living in Bartlett and the other in Southaven. Their names are quite different from those in America, because they come from far away countries. What they share in common however, is a genuine concern for their family's welfare. But what we all share in common is life, the unique opportunity to make the most of the time afforded us.
Which is better, to attend a funeral for a baby who's died or a funeral for an old person? When you look at it that way, you begin to understand what Solomon was saying. Long life is a blessing to anyone who redeems their time, but just the opposite for someone who doesn't. My wife and I frequently look at the obituaries to see if someone we know has died. One thing for certain, the longer we're blessed to live, the more funerals we get to attend. Bringing it home with one telling question, I must ask if you think you will gain anything by living one more day?
Pray it
This is the day You have made, I will rejoice in it, and show my gratefulness in the way I live it.
