As I was coming back from Paddan, Rachel died in Canaan when we were still some distance from Ephrath. So I buried her there on the way to Ephrath” (that is, Bethlehem).

God's glory is revealed as we move toward Him.

Live it
It was during a meeting at church years ago that I first heard the song entitled, "God Still Moves." The lyrics, "He never sleeps and does not slumber," were taken from Psalm 121:4. We were home schooling Abby, our youngest daughter, at that time and taught her the song as part of her music education. I'm sure it was the way she sang it that motivated us to sing it over and over. To this day we have fun reminding her of her lyrics, "God never sweeps, and does not slobber.”

We adults might get the words right, but I wonder how many of us will live this day with the idea God isn't anywhere to be found? Then, we look back and can see our path intersected God's on a regular basis - and at a time and place we didn't anticipate or consider significant. May I suggest to you that today may be another one of those days?

Pray it
I recognize Your work in me, even during times I was immobile and confused. Afraid to go forward and not interested in the past, I often felt alone and forgotten. It's only now I can look back and see what You were doing - in me and around me. Thank You that You did not sleep or slumber while I did.
