They sent their disciples to him along with Herod’s followers. They said to him, “Teacher, we know that you tell the truth and that you teach the truth about the way of God. You don’t favor individuals because of who they are. So tell us what you think. Is it right to pay taxes to the emperor or not?” |

| Live it I was boarding a plane to Louisville, Kentucky when I noticed Jerry (the King) Lawler sitting across the aisle. We acknowledged each other, but weren't close enough to carry on a conversation. Anyway, what do you say to the king of wrestling; especially when he knocks over a brown paper bag held between his feet and his cape and crown roll under the seat in front of him? Then later, who should walk into my boarding area but Dollie Parton? Boy, is she short! I would have loved to converse with her, but her body guards prevented anyone from approaching her. I also sat in a business meeting with several people which included Louise Mandrell - ditto. What could I say that might interest her? |

I've found that when I'm talking to someone of note, no matter what I want to say, it seldom comes out the way I planned. With that in mind, have you considered the awesome privilege we have in approaching and conversing with God? I don't necessarily feel intimidated when I pray, but when I see Him face to face, I'll probably bury my face in the ground and weep uncontrollably. With that being said, and if I plan to converse with Him, doesn't it make sense to do it down here? Pray it Resources 1.
