Live it
Most Sunday mornings, I pray as I walk around the perimeter of our church property. Some people see me and think I'm a security guard, while others must wonder if I'm trying to bring down the walls of Jericho. One day not long ago, I walked to the very back of the property where we have two retainage areas for water run-off with woods behind it. It was there I saw beautiful red flower standing out amongst the mostly green trees and brownish grass. As I approached it, it seemed the tree was lifting its beautiful flower heavenward in the same way I was raising my prayer. I understand the three-leaved wild plant is called a buckeye. Some say it yields a lucky nut, but I know it as a fellow praiser.

Pray it
Thank You, Father, for creating such a beautiful environment for us to live. But, when I think you are right now preparing a special place for me, I can hardly contain my anticipation.
