Hearing is not obedience anymore than listening is understanding. 3238

Live it
One person heard the request for another person to take out the trash. But instead of doing it promptly with the right attitude, the person who was asked, promised to do it later as both he and the person asking left the room. Seizing the opportunity, the other person took the trash out and didn't tell anyone. Now, both people heard the request, both understood it and both had good intention, but only one person did it and didn't expect to be recognized. I ask you, who was obedient? In the same way, knowledge of God's word, even with good intention, is not obedience.
Pray it
Help me learn to do things that please You, by reminding me when I don't.
