A lot of people are working extra hard to pay for something they can never own. Property rights are a privilege granted by the government, but who did they pay for it and what gives them the right to transfer ownership? In America, we know Indians occupied this land long before explorers brought the first pilgrims here. But who gave the Indians right to the land? They didn't consider themselves as having rights but privilege. The land and all its resources belonged to the Creator and they were but mere custodians. When the pilgrims came, they had a similar attitude, but others came behind them. They believed the land belonged to anyone with power to take it by force, if necessary, and maintain it by intimidation. That's where the title deed originated; the takers printed it.

We make a big deal about personal rights in America, but anyone thinking they can buy, sell, or transfer what God owns, is in for a shock. You see, the piece of paper stating we've paid for property, is nothing more than an agreement with the previous owner who promises to give it up. The truth is that they have no power that God didn't grant them. He can reclaim what He wants, when He wants it for any reason. But look at it this way: You can still use your title deed as a fire starter or toliet paper. Got a broom, dust pan and mop anyone?
