One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

You have heard the desire of oppressed people, O LORD. You encourage them. You pay close attention to them in order to provide justice for orphans and oppressed people so that no mere mortal will terrify them again.
Ps 10:17-18

We're like the palm-wavers in Jerusalem if we're conditional praisers. 3281

Live it..
A day coming when everything wrong will be made right and everything upside down set straight. Of course that day may be after you die, but it is coming, nevertheless. You don't have to believe it, because acceptance is not necessary. Some view Judgment Day, as prophesied in the Bible as that day, but it's not. The Bible tells us a day is coming when Truth will rule on earth and peace will reign in the person of Jesus Christ fulfilling His Messiahship prophecy. Justice will come later as He judges the living and the dead according to what they've done.

While the picture of peace on earth and retribution against evil brings a sense of joy to some, but it doesn't really affect us believers. That's because our joy is found in being with Jesus, which will happen at anytime while we're living, as we take our last breath or are caught up to meet Him in the clouds. To us, we've never questioned his Messiahship and no degree of proof or pay-back is required for us to find joy. If however, you are looking forward to seeing sin get the deep-six, get in line.

Pray it
Jesus, You are the Center of my joy, my contentment, my all in all. The only way it can get better is to be standing by You.
