Solomon had a lot of wives and many more mistresses, so you'd think he knew something about relationships. But reading what he wrote in Scripture is a sad commentary on a man of extremes. On one hand, God blessed him more than any other man and he was respected by everyone, even his enemies. But, he died in a sad state, gluttonous, alone and pitied by everyone. He had all the pleasures this world could afford, certainly enough money to buy anything his heart desired, but he had no love and no peace. Maybe we can learn from his mistakes and love God above anyone else. No, I don't think so. We'd rather sing, "When a man loves a woman
I give you everything i've got (yeah)
Trying to hold on to your precious love;
Baby, baby please don't treat me bad." Pray it Resources 1. One-minute
