God’s purpose is being fulfilled regardless of our willingness to participate. 3286

Live it.
Ever had a morning when you wanted to roll over and go back to sleep? I think everyone has experienced that sensation, but most of us eventually get up, put on clothes and do what's expected of us. And why is that? Some might call it being responsible and others mature. Then again, it might be the thought that whatever lies in wait won't get done unless we get up and do it, or the fact the longer we wait, our project won't get easier. But, what if God revealed to you what was going to happen today. Would it motivate you to get going or give you reason to bury your head under your pillow?
In that light, I often wonder about people in the Bible who weren't God's first choice and felt defeated before getting out of bed. Aaron must have wondered why God chose Moses instead of him, and David had several brothers who weren't chosen for special service. And who can read the parable of the prodigal son and not relate to his brother? Maybe you feel as if God has by-passed you on the way to chose someone else. If that's the case, remember the ground is level at the foot of the cross. The only one better than anyone else is Jesus and we've yet to hear His opinion.
Pray it
I'm convinced meekness exceeds greatness and that's a product of spending more time with You.
