Live it..
There's nothing so unsettling as knowing a tornado is headed your way and the only refuge you have is in a bathtub with a mattress over your head or in the shelter in your neighbor's yard. But regardless where you think you can hide, there comes a time when you'll turn to whatever or Whoever you believe can protect you. If you trust in yourself, that thought alone is scary enough. And if you trust is some thing, you might consider the rock, scissors, paper game and brace yourself. If however, you trust in God, you can rest knowing the One who created you and the elements of the storm, sees your circumstance.

One thing notable about security is the fact no one thinks they need it until they need it. But when they need it, it's only those who prepared in advance that have its benefit. No one but God knows what awaits for us today. Yesterday may have been a peaceful day, but Job was having a day like that right before his world fell apart. He was prepared, but unsuspecting at the same time. The storm not only took his home, possessions and family, it also took his sense of security. The only thing left was his faith and with the help of well-meaning friends, he thought he'd lost that as well - but he didn't. May we know the same peace, in, through and after the storm. The only security is knowing God through a personal relationship with Jesus. It's not an insurance policy, but an assurance policy that reminds us He will never forget or fail us.

Pray it
Despite my feelings of insecurity and ineffectiveness, I trust in You Jesus and choose to believe I'm alive today by Your grace. It won't keep me from having problems, but it has been and will forever be the only life assurance policy I 'll ever need.
