Live it..
Working in the door business, I recently closed my fabrication shop and started working out of a storage space. It was increasingly harder to manage Prayertower, write daily devotions, compose a book and work long hours doing hard work. My hat is off to anyone who can do it and keep congruent thought; I couldn't. I think one episode played a large part in my decision. I looked for a special door I had made for a customer, but couldn't find it. Before asking for more time to make another and suffering the lost revenue, I was determined to find where the mysterious three-bar door had gone.

The best way to find something is to eliminate where it's not. However unlikely, my last option was that I installed that door on a house the day before and didn't realize it. I called and asked for verification and was told they had the door they ordered. Having run out of options, I planned to apologize to the three-bar customer, beg for more time and begin fabrication the next morning. Then as I was praying the next morning, I got a call from that customer apologizing. They said when I called the night before, they'd asked their child to check the door, but this morning learned they didn't. I had indeed installed the wrong door on the wrong house. You know, I questioned a lot of things that night, not the least of which was my sanity and the fact I shouldn't be allowed to go in public out by myself. The moral of the story? When you run out of options, why is prayer the last option on our list? For that matter, why is prayer an option and not our first response?

Pray it
It's the "pray about everything" that seems to give me most trouble, Lord. Thank you for continuing to teach me.
