Live it..
I imagine most everyone my age watched the Little Rascals on black and white television when they were growing up. I'm not sure it influenced anyone, but was pure entertainment. You know, I'm not even sure you could run that footage on television anymore because of political correctness and the edgy racial relations in our country. But there was one episode where Mr. Welling told the gang, "If you were my kids, I'd punish you," and Stymie replied, "If we were YOUR kids, we'd punish ourselves!"

Discipline is a controversial subject, especially these days, because we have a whole generation who has been raised on threat in lieu of godly discipline. So, how's that working for all you anti-God experts? And I'm afraid what we have for our investment is an ungrateful, imposing and selfish return in children headed for self-destruction with "friends" going along for the ride. I'm so grateful God has given us independent minds capable of making either proper or stupid decisions. It's just too bad other people have to suffer when we test God and resist His Word.

Pray it
Your ways are holy, Lord, and never change. Were that I the same way so we could stop meeting in the woodshed.
