One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

Don’t ask,“Why were things better in the old days than they are now?” It isn’t wisdom that leads you to ask this!

Live it..
Have you ever thought that it would be nice to return to your youth and do it over? I asked someone that question not too long ago, and they snapped back, "I did it once; I don't want to do it again!" The question of course, was only hypothetical. But it causes us to think about where we're been and how we did. Our answer reveals the fact we're happy with the way things turned out or there are unresolved issues still lingering.

There's a lot of people who are trying to look like something they're not. And who knows but that most people buy it. But the day is coming when the make-up comes off and the fine clothes don't fit or matter. Job is the oldest book in the Bible and yet he said something that was as true then as it is now, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart." (1:21) So here it is: regardless where we came from and where we think we're going, God knows who we really are.

Pray it
Thank You, God, that I don't have to hide behind pretension, but can rest in the knowledge you love me regardless.
