A scepter will never depart from Judah nor a ruler’s staff from between his feet until Shiloh comes
and the people obey him.

Gen 49:10

One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

Wait and anticipate are more connected than just rhyme. 3307

Live it..
Isn't it interesting how every child wants to be older and every adult younger? But each wants to carry something with them on their trip through time. The young want to keep their careless lifestyle and adults their knowledge. Well, adults can't get what they want, but every child will get their wish, but at a slower pace than they want. So everyone does the same thing, we wait.

So, what do you do while you're waiting? I think it's interesting how people spend their idle time, don't you. There's watching television, reading, exercising, shopping (sounds like work to me) and O yeah, playing Farmville on the computer. If you're a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, than you might read your Bible, serve the needs of other people or you might even pray. Well, here's an interesting thing to ponder; what is Jesus doing right now? He's waiting like us, you know. But one day soon, Scripture says the waiting will be over and He's coming back as promised. Does He even have idle time (tongue in cheek)?

Pray it
Now that I'm redeemed, I ask You to help me redeem the time.
