One-Minute Devotionals reveal in a single sentence, underlying truth about specific Scripture.

Zebulun will live by the coast. He will have ships by the coast. His border will go as far as Sidon.

Live it..
His parents had a pre-arranged marriage. Zebulun was one of the twelve sons of Jacob who never rose to any real significance. He's only mentioned a couple of times in Scripture, and is best known for having children. Not the youngest nor the oldest, he was far from being the favorite, so he lived in virtual anonymity. So, when all your hard work goes for naught and your best plans wind up on the bottom of the garbage help, what do you do? Why, you do the best you can, attend to what you mess up, love God with all your heart and thank Him for the privilege of living.

Today's Scripture was not the most inspiring of verses. In fact, I was drawing zeroes as I thought about it. So while thinking about it, I got up from my chair and walked into the kitchen to pour some coffee I'd prepared earlier. To my surprise, hot coffee and grounds were all over the counter top, face of the cabinet and floor. It seems I'd forgotten to put a filter in the basket to catch the ground beans coffee overflowed the basket. I usually clean the pot before using it, but yesterday thought it a good idea to clean it after using it. Good plan and preparation, but in changing my pattern, I failed to double-check myself before turning the machine on. While cleaning my mess however, I could swear God elbowed me in the side and whispered, "Got anything yet?"

Pray it
I can't believe You take time to teach someone as dense as me, but I'm so glad You do.
