Live it..
It contains sixty-six books and covers a period of of approximately 1,600 years. Of its 40 authors, some were kings and princes, poets and philosophers, and others prophets and statesmen. Some were learned and others just regular people like me and you. It was composed in the language of the day, first in Hebrew, some in Aramaic, then in Greek. And despite man's best effort through the ages to destroy and discredit it, it's been preserved and its information proven indisputable, its inspiration undeniable and its relativity unquestionable.

Yet, for many, their Bible hasn't been opened in years. But that's not as surprising as the fact those who took it to church on Sunday haven't opened it since. This proves the sad fact most of us consider God's Word an article of worship and nothing more. It's really a shame so many people sacrificed so much to preserve it, just so we could dishonor it and bring shame on us.

Pray it
Thank You for the Word; for the blood, sweat and tears that stained it before it was ever taken of on the box; for the fact it's message to me has never been more timely or more needed.
